This paper discusses advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and its development in intelligent driving. ADAS uses a variety of sensors to collect environmental data inside and outside the car, and through object recognition, detection and tracking and other processing technologies, provides drivers with the fastest detection of potential hazards, thereby improving driving safety. With the rapid development of intelligent driving, cars are moving towards securely connected autonomous robots that enable environmental awareness and planning decisions, and ultimately reach their destination safely. This paper introduces the mainstream sensor products, including LiDAR, millimeter wave radar, ultrasonic radar and camera, and points out that the integration of ADAS will drive the development of the sensor market. The authors point out that with the increase of ADAS penetration, the sensor market size will further expand. In addition, the article also discusses that the arrival of L3+ autonomous driving will drive the growth of the sensor cleaning product market, because L3 level autonomous vehicles require more sensors, and therefore the cleaning demand for sensor lenses is stronger. Finally, the authors predict the potential size of the market for intelligent driving sensor cleaning products when global L3+ vehicle sales reach a certain level. Taken as a whole, the ADAS and intelligent driving sectors offer tremendous opportunities and growth for the application and development of sensor technology.
